Summary: Rob, the host was quick & most helpful in responding to a couple of questions we had prior to our stay. 5 Star Guy!Our rental was 1 of 4 in a ranch style multi-family house (2 units in front, 2 in yard). We had expected a single family home. We had never seen this particular style of build but seemed common in the neighborhood. The other 3 units were unoccupied so quiet. The house was cozy, cute nautical decor & very clean. Not used to bringing our own sheets & towels. We all missed that notation when booking but thankfully Rob included a reminder in his correspondence w house address and key pad code.The house is conveniently located, approx a mile to restaurants, beach, & whale watching cruise. We did see a whale & 2 dolphins! We also recommend the Historic Trolly Tour.One thing we could have used a heads up on was that major street work is being done on the block of the house as well as the adjacent side street. We planned to relax w drinks & food on the deck each day but obviously no. Heavy machinery was ripping up the asphalt, clouds of dust flying, etc. The Porta potty was next to the curb closest to the find table provided for a laugh of our view. A municipal dept letter in house was dated April w no finish date noted. Due to this work no parking allowed on street 6am - 5pm due to work, so no overnight unless alarm set for 5:55am. We used driveway slab of empty unit for 2nd vehicle. We did enjoy our stay & would consider booking again in future.
