Summary: After a long day of driving, we arrived right before dark, exhausted and hungry. There was a lock on our tent. Ugggh. We were told to just go to our tent, no need to check in. With no internet, we had to walk until we found a signal. Otherwise, we would have had to drive to find service. We texted a number and they gave us the code, but the lock wouldn't open. We had to wait for them to come to us. It was growing darker and our patience getting thinner. Ivy finally showed up and got the tent unlocked. Not a great start. There were rips down each side of the zipper so mosquitos could come in. Another uggh. Ivy said there had been a tornado and that another tent was on the way, all the others had been replaced except for this one. She left to get tape and something to use for mosquitos which, they usually sell. But she gave us for free. Which under the circumstances we expected this. But my notion of glamping was quickly changing. And I was wondering why I was paying so much, and the same amount as everyone else for an inferior tent. Even though I had already paid, apparently I still owed something. She said they had no way to communicate to me. But we had gotten an email so that was a way to have reached me. We had a good stay after that. The place is nice enough, but about a $100 overpriced. Not worth it. No bathroom, comfort station is far and inadequate for the number of people.
