Summary: This resort has pros and cons. We went in the slow season and that does cause some issues. While most of the staff was super friendly, we felt that after 5pm, we couldn’t leave the island because we wouldn’t be able to get a ride back which made going out for an evening incredibly difficult. The boat driver slightly made us feel as tho we inconvenienced him when we would ask for rides at any time of the day. This is essentially a tiny island off the main land with no stores, restaurants, or any night life…so if you wanted to do and evening activities, this is not the island to stay. The restaurant would also close early if there was no one eating at it, so dinner was hard to get as well unless you got it early while staff was still available and the food was sub par at best. There is absolutely no water pressure, so just be prepared for that when you come. The positives would be the beaches. They are absolutely spectacular on this island and because of the slow season, we almost had them to ourselves daily. The water is out of this world. Bohemian people are extremely friendly and the mainland (Georgetown) along with stocking island are very safe. I never once felt uneasy anywhere we went. The tours with exuma water sports were fantastic. Highly recommend. I don’t think we would ever stay here again, but the views were incredible and we are happy we gave it a try. If we didn’t get stranded daily, my review may be different. That was a real bummer.
