You can also walk to Safeway and Starbucks - literally around the corner from the house! It’s only a five-minute drive to Highway 101 and ten minutes to the SF airport.
This home is loaded with extras, including a fireplace, air conditioning, central heating, washer/dryer, high speed FIBER internet, HDTV, DVD player and videos, and stocked kitchen with Wolf range and plenty of spices, oils and appliances. The beds are freshly made with cozy designer linens and an abundance of towels, and hair products are available for your convenience. There is plenty of parking on the private driveway.
Location: Within walking distance to grocery stores, shopping, library, parks, churches, casual and fine dining. Easy access to San Francisco International Airport (10 minutes). Half hour drive to the Pacific coastal beaches, the sights of San Francisco, and the heart of Silicon Valley. Within 2 hours drive to Napa wine country, Monterey/Carmel.
The train tracks and train station are a few blocks away within walking distance. We do occasionally hear the conductor blow the train's horn, as they are required to sound it if they sense a problem on the tracks. But honestly, we work at home and the neighborhood is so quiet that mostly you hear the birds chirping or neighborhood kids playing before you notice the train horn. When our son first heard the train's horn, he said it reminded him of the fog horns in San Francisco, which he loves.
The train tracks extend from San Francisco through the whole Peninsula. One advantage of course is you can take the train to SF or through the Peninsula and avoid driving.
