Location

To contact us for more information and a rate quote for your rental, please
email us at chicagovacationrental@gmail.com or call us at 773-680-0775.

We are located 15 minutes, 5 miles due south from our Chicago downtown city center.     Please see the maps below.

We are 10 minutes and
2.5 miles from our convention center, McCormick Place.

A great many of our guests attend trade shows at McCormick Place.

We are also located 1/3 mile west of the 90/94 expressway.  It is an easy 10-15 minute drive to everywhere that most people visiting Chicago want to go.

The Red line CTA train is 1/2 mile walk east of us.  This train goes north and south through our entire city and within a short walking distance of all of our major attractions.

McCormick Place is 1 train stop away.

We also have a bus 1/2 city block from our door
if you prefer to walk less or if walking is an issue.

It is a very fast trip to all of the great attractions of Chicago.

Chicago, like any major city has it's share of crime.
Our area has been voted the safest neighborhood to trick-or-treat out of 80+ neighborhoods in Chicago.

We lived in this neighborhood for 17 years, and 9 years in this building before converting this building into  rentals.

Our block is quiet and peaceful.  You won't hear traffic, bar noise and sirens all night long like you will hear in a more congested area of the city.

Baseball fans will love that we are a very short walking distance from U.S. Cellular Field, the home of the 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox.

Maps

Here is a map to our location:  Please click the view larger
map link in blue and then click the directions link in the upper left
corner.  You can then type an address or any of our
attractions such as Millennium Park to see the distance
 and travel time.

This next map shows the route to the McCormick Place Hyatt, which is in the middle of the McCormick Place Convention Center Complex.   There are two different routes to get there by public transportation that we can send you.   Which route is better depends on which part of the McCormick Place complex your event is being held.    There are 5 separate exhibit halls at the complex.
